How does this system look?

Looking for some feedback from current owners who have already spent some time in their FJ's. My truck will be here in 4 weeks. Got the TRD edition. Going to my son as a gift. After reading lot's of posts, I think I will do the following.
Pioneer AVIC-N3 with Ipod interface adaptor, pac module, and I will also need a Sirius module.
For the alarm I was going with a Clifford Matrix 3.5. This will also enable him to open the rear glass from the remote. Remote start also included.
I am going to put a reverse camera in it. After looking alot at the rear, I am leaning towards putting the camera somewhere on the spare tire set-up. I also will replace the door speakers. From what I gather here, there not very good. I think thats about it. From your experience with the FJ, does this set-up make sense? Ant issues I should be concerned with? I dont really care if the stereo gets very loud. I think 2500-3000 should get this done. Thanks!

lol. I have 2 boys already. I think Im done.
I am not an audio guy, so I need some feedback here. The main reason for the radio was for the Nav.

Re: How does this system look?

Matrix 3.5 like. (with all the goodies prolly $700-800 installed)

Avic-n3 don't like.
It will look like crap compared to a D2 or Z1. You have a double din opening, a double din radio will look much much better.(With all the goodies probably $2000-$2800 installed)
If you decide to just replace speakers and not amplify them, I would go with something fairly efficient like an Alpine type S Speaker. (2 pairs installed about $250-350, front and rear doors disco the dash and back pillars)

Re: How does this system look?

What is a D2 and a Z1? Who makes it? Double Din means exactly what. Please excuse my dumbness in this subject. I am learning.

Re: How does this system look?

Pioneer makes the D2 and Z1; I have the Z1 in mine and love it...it has a harddrive built into it that stores every audio cd you put in. Also since the Nav is on the harddrive it is faster; also voice navigated...I can get you a good deal on the system from an audio shop I used to work for...and as JT's Cruiser said if you aren't amping the system get something fairly efficient...for subs I like this enclosure New Subwoofer Enclosure Fiberglass 2 X 10" Setup From Wicked Cas
That is what I would have gotten if I hadn't seen it after i started fiberglassing my own. If you have any questions just PM me

Re: How does this system look?

Camera can be mouting inside of the rear bumper any good installer can do this for you. Someone out there has the pioneer camera done this way on the board.
