A-Trac - maybe a problem

FJers - when I push the A-trac button - Is there a light that is supposed to come on? For some reason - I get the sense that something is wrong - whenever pushed - it has never come on since i've owned it (~ 1 month).

Are you in low gear? It won't come on in high gear (AT only)?

I have a manual trans - i have not used it in 4L yet - I have the switch on all the time when i drive (normal highway driving and moderate offroad) - I just want to make sure nothings wrong - for some reason I thought the light should come on when the button is pressed - thanks for the feedback.

A-TRAC doesn't activate until you are in low range on the Transfer Case.....

TRAC will take care of you on the road....
