Heated Mirrors

Has anyone successfully installed heated mirrors? I work at a glass shop and have opened up the doors and found the conduit going thru the door panel into the cabin, unfortunatly, the conduit is sealed and plugged , so there was no way to run a wire from the mirrors back into the cabin.

i already have a switch & relay and the heat pads to apply to the back of the mirrors. all i need is a way back into the fj.

my only solution that i can come up with is to install the switch and relay in the door panel and run the drivers side off the switch. any help would be appreciated

Re: Heated Mirrors

I am not sure if this is applicable, but when I installed fog lights I used a wireless switch so that I did not have to run a wire through the firewall.

Re: Heated Mirrors

I don't have a link but any PeP Boys or Auto Zone carries them.
