Has anyone been able to procure a Sirius module for their FJammer? I'm getting huge run-around from my dealer (they took my money and now claim they can't get it).
Apparently XM's is available, however, I'm a loyal Sirius-holic...at least for now.
I had it installed in November, as soon as the kit came out. The dealer had my FJ in the shop for 10 days. Toyota sent the packages out to the dealers but wouldn't release the directions until December. My dealer had no idea how to feed the lines through the interior and window trim. I put a call out on the Forum and got XM directions to install in an FJ in a PDF from someone here.
It might still be there if someone had not helped me out. It works great, I have Stern, music and jokes. Love it!
You might try Matt @ trdsource, he is a supporting vendor and a great help! I think he has them in stock, plus, he offers discounts to members.

Good Luck!
Thanks, Dave. Will try Matt if I can't get my dealer off his a**.
Thanks to all for your responses. For what it's worth, my dealer's manager called late this afternoon. He said that yes, the Sirius modules are in stock, however they are few and far between because the Lexus dealers/customers are getting priority.
The capitalist in me sees no issue with that: What Toyota makes off of each Lexus deal is considerably more than what it pulls in from a Toyota. That being said, a little more consistency from Toyota Customer Care (who told me over the phone that they were not available, period, due to a Sirius engineering issue) and the Port (who said they had never seen one) would be appreciated.
In reality, it's clear that someone and/or group of people were being "economical with the truth." That's a bummer, but I've been in the car business for 20+ years and am not surprised.
Thanks to all of you and your input, I was able to get somewhere w/the dealer this afternoon.
Again, thanks to everyone!
Bob
Having paid way too much for the Toyota Sirius unit, I now wish I had gotten after market stereo and Sirius. There are a few limitations with the scrolling text and also fjammer quality in general.
If the dealer keeps messing around, go to Circuit City and have it done the same day, why wait weeks and weeks for an overpriced unit (definitely over priced in my case, hopefully you did better than me )
I have one on order from Toyota of Grapevine and they said they had the unit but had to order the fit kit. May take a couple of weeks. The install instructions from TIS are posted here some where. I will do the install my self when parts arrive.

Hey folks, just an update. My dealer -- actually, someone from the port -- installed my Sirius module at the dealership today. Must say, it works great and is nicely integrated with the unit.
In addition, I've been in direct contact with someone from the OEM group at Sirius.
Frankly, I've received so many different stories from so many different sources it is mind-boggling.
The bottom-line, though, is that the ONLY reliable sources of information were from this forum! Doesn't get better than that (though you should be able to trust OEMs).
