Audiophiles Please Help

I want to step up the sound I am getting from my FJammer and no precisely squat about stereoes and the like.

If I could only do one, money reasons, which would be the best improvement in sound and quality.

An Amp, or better speakers? Cheers!

Better speakers!! If you amp the piece of crap stock speakers, you will blow them. However, don't expect too much improvement with just new speakers. But this would be a great place to start. Later, if you can afford it, you can always add an amp.

Hope this helps!!

It does indeed! I guess thinking about it, that makes more sense. Better quality sound first, then added power.

Thanks! appreciate it. Any recomendations?

I went with Infinity Reference 3052's in the dash / rear pillars and the 9012's in the doors. Sounds great to me.

Check this out for the rest of my install:

Second Bang Bang. Start with speakers. Infinity reference are good place to start. You can save a little money and go with something else (alpine, fosgate, pioneer, etc), but it ain't much more to go to reference series. And they will serve you well if you step up to an amp.

By the way, love the tom waits reference. from my home town...southbay san diego.

I grew up on base at Miramar. Left in 93 when I graduated. There are things I miss, but when I go back to visit and see how they built something on every single piece of open exposed ground it makes me miss it not so much.

I do miss rubios though....mmmm rubios...*drool*

And Tom is the man!
