Magellan CrossoverGPS - does streets AND topo!

I found THIS. Finally a GPS that does both streets AND topo maps. Looks like it should be on the market later this month (supposedly).

The other option I was looking at was a setup using a UMPC--something like the Raon Vega. More expensive and maybe not as user-friendly to use in the car, but definitely has the potential for greater functionality. The Vega would even fit in the map box like the unavailable Toyota setup.

I think the Magellan would do just what I want out of a car GPS--street directions for daily driving and topo maps for offroad use--without any modifications. The PC option would be able to do more cool stuff, but would be more of a hassle to use (waiting for it to boot up, etc.).

Anyone have a better solution than the Magellan unit for both on- and off-road?
