Hello there everyone . I have a Eclipse AVN 30D that I had in my Fj that my
wife

made me get rid of . It was in there for 6 months still with 3 year warranty . I will transfer warranty as well .

Make me a offer !

I have not had much luck doing research on this unit. Is AVN 30D the full model name? I looked in the 2006 and 2005 Eclipse AVN on-line brochure and can't find a unit listed with that model #? Maybe its a 2004 model since the 2005/2006 models have 4 digit #'s?

This should be the same unit (pretty much) as the AVN-5435 but with steering wheel controls. This would put it back a few years for sure, at least 2005 and maybe older. I think these were in the '05 Camrys.

It's not a 04 or 05 early 06 . I had it installed the last week of March thats when I purchased my 07 fj . Look at AVN30D Owner's Manual
Also who ever buys I will give the sirus kit also and the transfer warranty
same as the newest model 5435

Yes it does work with your steering controls

Ok...did a little more research. Did this unit come as a dealer installed option? Looks like the AVN 60D (AVN 6600), 50D (AVN 5500) and 30D (AVN 5435) could be dealer and/or wholesale model #' so it's a 2006 unit. PM sent.

Elipse AVN30D is a unit that is only sold to dealer direct installers, it can not be sold as a retail unit. It does not have preouts and and inputs. There are also some other things that it lacks. But over all it a good nav. Hope these helps.

The reason why I went with this unit , is that the dealership said to me that
toyota whould have no problem with this aftermarket radio install so if
something went wrong they would warranty it for me .
Yes it does have preouts and inputs . The only part that is diffrent from the
5435 is its plug and play so you can remove the old radio and the main cables
plug in so theres only very little splicing in the wires .

I think it's time for Pictures, and or, to move this to "parts for sale" area? Is the unit out of the vehicle yet, if not, Pictures of it working would be great too!
