Re: Problem with my radio

I believe that, in the U.S., FM stations are only odd numbers after the decimal.

For example 94.5, 105.3, 93.7, etc.

This is why the radio has no even numbers after the decimal point.

Re: Problem with my radio

This is indeed the case, European frequencies will be even, which is why American radios will often not work there, or will have a "zone" setting to change tuning.

Re: Problem with my radio

FM frequencies are odd numbered due to the fact that the bandwidth for FM frequencies is 200 KHz wide. The center of the band is 100 KHz, and because FM is 88 - 108 MHz, the first channel spacing is 88.1 MHz. Allowing for 200 KHz of separation, the next channel would be 88.3, 88.5, and so on.

Nope. Internally, the frequencies are being passed through various filter stages that rely on the odd numbered frequencies in order to extract the intelligence from the carrier frequency. There is simply no way of reassigning the FM frequency band to accomplish what you are looking for.
