I know I saw a post or some instructions on how to do this somewhere on here but I can't find it.

Please advise.

Re: Removing the A-pillar`

The 'A' pillar cannot be removed.

If you are asking about the interior, try this: http://brockandbecca.com/files/fj/Ac...%20Install.pdf

If you are talking about the exterior piece, once the interior piece is removed you can remove the single retaining nut and then gently pry it off.. it has a few clips securing it.

Re: Removing the A-pillar`

If you are removing the exterior piece, be sure to have some extra clips on hand. There are 10 total (5 per side), and I broke 8 of them. Your dealer can order them for around 50 cents each.

Re: Removing the A-pillar`

Thanks Valkyrie. This is exactly what I was looking for. The search function here is often very helpful, but sometimes it just pulls up too much stuff I'm not looking for to be useful.

DR

P.S. To you go by Valkyrie because of your motorcycle? I have a Valk Interstate and it is awesome.

Re: Removing the A-pillar`

The trick in searching is to eliminate the static... I used "pillar removal" and it took me right to it.

Nope, no bike... long story in another thread. Search!
