What would be the average time and install costs for the following equipment


MB Quart RCE210 in the front dash 4 inch component
MB Quart RCE164 in the doors 6 1/2 inch woofer
MB Quart RCE213 in the passenger door panels 5 1/4 component

Polk C400.4 AMP
JL Audio Clean Sweep

PIAA Fog Lights 2100 XT in lower Grill
PIAA Driving Lights 520 Bumper Mount

Compustar Pro P2W9000FMR w/ remote start

I received 2 very diffrent quotes.

One was for 3-4 day install at $500 a day ( i was like holy S....)
Another for 285 for stereo equip, 40 an hour for the foglights between 2-5 depending on trouble and difficulty.


Just curious on what is a good deal. Both shops have been around for sometime and are warrantying the work.

I hate when they give you a time spread (2-5). When you figure it can't be any worse than 5 hours, all of a sudden it turns into 6. I got a quote for speaker install at 75 for a pair so 285 isn't bad for all your doing. 40 an hour is cheap. I installed fogs behind my lower bumper and it took 3 hours so their estimate is pretty good. Tell the guy who wants 500 a day to go find some other sucker
