What has been your experience with installing Dynamat and where did you put it?
I am curious as to what extent this reduces cabin noise, thanks...
I didn't do the install myself but when i switched to an aftermarket stereo i had 25 sq ft of dynamat installed, floorboards back to approx halfway into rear cargo area and both front doors. Cabin noise reduced by maybe 25%. Sometime in the future i will finish the cargo area, rear door and headliner. I know that others have done this......maybe northshore voodoo?
Since I installed my subs I've really been thinking about it...I'm trying to decide were exactly all the extra vibration is coming from. I think most of it is in the rear cargo door itself..and wouldn't be too hard to dynamat that. I might try it soon..the vibration is horrible on some songs.

We are really huge believers in Dynamat, you can put a little in the doors and back, or do the entire vehicle as some people have done, the effect is awesome.
One word of caution, do NOT use dynamat original, too much work, dynamat extreme is much better.
If you are going to do extensive work, i would recommend doing it on a hot day, and laying the dynamat out in the sun to soften it, also use their roller or another roller commonly available at most hardware stores.
Applying dynamat is not difficult, but can be extremely time consuming, but in the end well worth the effort.
If you do a google on RAAMmat you find an independent guy who did a survey of most all the different types of mat available. If you're thinking about matting, it's worth the read. Sound Deadener Showdown
