Need Help Installing Pioneer....

I hope someone can help - I am having no luck getting a shop to install my Pionner Model: DEH-P6900UB in my FJ... they cannot find a faceplate... has anyone experienced this/found or made one?

Also, I was told i don't need to move my amp, polks or bazooka tube - just my head unit - to have a great system (let me add my goal is great sound - not breaking mirrors). Does anyone have any knowledge to support or disclaim this fact?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Need Help Installing Pioneer....

Since that is a single DIN unit going in a double DIN, most shops may not keep the kit in stock. You should be able to order one from Cruthfield. Once you get the kit, most shops should be able to install it.

You will get a better sound from that pioneer then the stock HU ... I'm sure you will be happy with it.
