ARB Foglights, what the h$ll?

So I installed an ARB bumper and IPF foglights I connected the fog lights to the headlights to provide the circuit and allow them to be turned on when the parking lights were on. Now however if I leave my headlights on, and try to turn it off when i leave my car by hitting the lock button twice it doesn't do it! I have to have the foglights on! They no longer turn off automatically! Any ideas. If I need to clarify this please let me know.

Sorry I don't know enough about electrical systems to offer an intelligent opinion.

One minute-ish shutoff for turned on headlights... Not a good power tap for anything.

I do know mine are run seperately entirely. They have their own relay and run into their own fuse. I had them installed, see previous post about not know $hit about electrical systems. Perhaps they need to be wired better?

I'm not really sure... not trying to be an expert. Timed delay headlight-off, DRLs, and alarms all make circuits more complex.

Let me clarify a little more! I'm not taking power off the lights, it has its own relay and fuse that goes to the main battery. But you have to wire it in to the parking, running, or head lights for them to work. Don't know a lot about electrical either; but you need to complete the circuit or they won't turn on. Like I can't have my fog lights turned on if my parking or head lights aren't on. I believe my auto turn off, the minuteish thing you were referring to works. But if you didn't know if you leave your headlights on, when you get out of the truck and lock your FJ twice it turns them off and doesn't wait for the auto turn off. Thats what is not working! I'm still not sure if the auto off works when I leave my floods on with my headlights, haven't had time to check.

Does that clarify it better?
