Re: parked next to a H-3 today...

The only problem with the H3 is the people who throw 24" low profiles on them with spinners and crap like that. It's the same thing as getting a pitbull and dressing it in pink sweaters and painting it's nails. That is very disrespectful!

I concur... but to each his own... I've seen a few fjs with 20" crome rims.

um, if it's okay - I hate em - been called a baby hummer way too many times. I got thin skin
Totally understandable. I've only had mine called a "baby hummer" by a 5 year old....I could only chuckle and say "yes it is" afterall, he was only a toddler and didn't know any different.

As for adults, the proper response is that "the H3 is only 5/6th an FJ!"

I say go back and explain it to the 5 year old. They are very impressonable at that age... and should be corrected by such a mistake. Not knowing the difference could cause long term affects.

Although, the 5/6th explanation might need to be simplified. I doubt a 5 y/o is up to fractions yet. LOL

And just to make it relevant to the category, the H3 does include a stereo system.

Re: parked next to a H-3 today...

I took my son (6yrs old) offroading a few weeks back, There was a lifted (9inch) bronco that went over an obstacle of rocks and mud (BIG).... The Bronco couldnt clear the obstacle. My son kept egging me on to do it, but I refused... I had to listen to him repeat ("oohhh, the FJ's afraid") the entire weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. But then again, had it been in the other vehicle forum, it would have been the 32,669 thread related to some kind of hummer variant

Anyway, I have the option of parking next to or near a couple of H2s and one H3 everyday at work. Also, one other FJ (TiSilver). I just park whereever is available.

And let's not forget those ammenities we take for granted like heated seats and side mirrors. Both of which I wish came standard for the price I paid for my rig. But thanks to SwissArmySUV, my wishes are now a reality!
