Wanted Fj Center Dash Cluster, Please!

If anyone desides to remove their center dash cluster, (compass. alt, inc) please let me know. Thanks.

To get the instrument cluster, you have to trade the entire dash. Someone here did it and posted pictures. Big job. There are a number of people who would like to ditch their instruments, not many willing to disassemble their vehicle

Hello, I am a Aircraft mechanic, I do mods all the time, I have a plan to install the unit with my current dash, I have the Fj wiring schematic, I am not really into cutting or removing things unless there is no other way. So far I have accomplished the back up camera mod, stereo mod with headrest video, overhead light mod, playstation mod with wireless controllers, Thule mod, Hella triple air horn mod and more. But I know I can do it.

Ok a few Quick Questions
Does the pod come out without removing the dash ? I have another idea for a mod.
Do you know if the compass is just electronic ?
About how many wires are attached to the pod ?
Is there any room under the pod ?

I WILL BE REMOVING MINE WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH OR TWO. i AM CUSTOMIZING ALL THE PANELS IN MY FJ INCLUDING THE DASH HOW SOON DO YOU NEED IT?

Did you also replace your steering wheel? The first photo has the audio buttons on the wheel, but the last does not.

It was a dash swap. There are two vehicles in the pictures. I just found the thread for adding the buttons though and am going to do that next week when the part gets here.
