Subwoofer Question

I am going to buy a Wicked Cas for the FJ. I currently have a box with a punch 12" in it that prolly could work. However its got a solid 6-7 years of age on it so was thinking of going with JL instead. Should I go two 10's or one 12"? I am more into punchy bass than big booming bass.

Re: Subwoofer Question

personally i like a single 10" sub. you get a nice tight bass and you dont sacrifice too much space. a single 12" would be good also dont get me wrong, but i've found that dual boxes take up too much room if you are trying to be somewhat practical about everyday use. if you want a ton of bass and sound and dont care about space, GO BIG! i dont have any sub in my fj right now, factory would have been nice, but i still find it quite nice. i will add either a single 8" or 10" at some point. good luck

Re: Subwoofer Question

Nice box.... They are VERY proud of it... Try looking on the web. Find the sub you want then do search for the model number... with a little legwork, you can save 40-60% on current model year new equipment.
