COBRA 29-WXNWST install

i wanted to have the classic cb, this seemed to be the best placement.

also the 18ft of cable works great with no doubling up when run from the bandimount position.

i just ran the cable into the rubber boot into the truck, out of the driver rear seat corner and into the door channel. then up and around the front D side rubber mat and into the center console.

Re: COBRA 29-WXNWST install

If you get ambituous some day you might try this mounting option. Easier to see and manipulate without reaching or taking your eyes off the road and doesn't impede the passenger seat coming forward. ALTHOUGH, the CB I installed only weighs 2lbs and I think yours is over 4...

Good choice of CB.
I have the 29 Nightwatch.

They are big, but they have the built in SWR meter and you can hotrod them easily.
Mine is pumping out 25 watts.

I bought mine new back around '99.
