Sounds sweet

It does need a subwoofer
Any ideas on one that can mount under the drivers seat or the back door?
I do not want to give up cargo space

Re: New System for The FJ

you wont be able to get anything under the drivers seat or back door. in the rear door you have a wiper motor in your way, and it is an acoustical nightmare. under the seat is only for a really custom fab job. you have to cut the floor, and essentially weld in a well for the enclosure to sit in, or make the enclosure, coat it with resin inside and out and bedliner outside, then really seal the area around the hole. that is only for extreme applications that are well funded. other options would be a, ehhh, pre-fab box to fit where the stock woofer goes.

I am not sure about the dimensions of that amp but, You may be able to fit the amp under pass seat if you take the heat duct out, ANd you can get one of our enclosures you will not have any issues with the cargo compartment since the FJ enclosures we make only take up the space that will not be utilized in most cases.

Re: New System for The FJ

Actually with some careful fab you can install a sub on the rear door. I did it and it sounds great. You just have to be careful about the depth of the driver you use so it doesn't interfere with the wiper motor..

That looks great. Do you have pics or details on how you did it? I'm thinking of something similar, and any help would be appreciated. Is that a 10" in the door?

I had it all professionally installed
With the LoJack and Viper Alarm/Remote Start I didn't want to mess with it
Plus I wouldn't want to be the one cutting the door panels up

Door woofers are 8"
I think they were 4" mids in the dash
I think 1: tweets in top of doors
Amp under passenger seat

I will take a few pics in a little bit and post them
