YEP! I ordered an iPod interface for the radio so I can control it with the steering wheel buttons.I just bought this iPod/FJ radio interface on EBay. $129.99
2007 TOYOTA FJ CRUISER iPOD DIRECT CONNECT INTERFACE + AUX INPUT
"New!!!! This iPOD direct connect interface will allow you to connect your iPOD directly into your factory radio & give your a additional aux input to your factory stereo. You will be able to control your iPOD through your factory car stereo and your iPOD will charge its battery while connected. For the additional Aux input you can run anything into it via RCA's and switch to that instead of the iPOD anytime by pressing a button on your factory car stereo. This interface is the best solution for adding your iPOD to your factory car stereo. Never settle for a noisy radio frequency FM (RF) modulator / transmitter.
This interface connects an ipod directly to your Toyota audio system. Its on-board software translates commands from your Toyota External CD Changer (You In-dash CD Changer will stil work perfect with this interface installed) controls into commands that the iPOD understands, and provides the following benefits:
• Retains Digital Sound Quality
• Allows you to Control your iPod from the factory radio buttons
• Includes 4ft Cable
• Keeps iPod Charged And Ready To Go and the iPOD will automatically stop charging one hour after the iPOD is paused. iPOD will go to SLEEP mode after charging.
• Control your iPOD from your factory radio and steering wheel controls (if equipped)
• Retains iPod display and Controls"
For the XM....I just realized the Garmin Zumo I purchased for my motorcycle has an XM radio system if you purchased their Xm antenna, which I just did. This is a repost off another post I made.
-------------------------------------------
I bought a Garmin Zumo 550 recently, mainly as a GPS and XM radio for my rally motorcycle. It uses blue tooth for a wireless connection to my helmet. But, as you can see, it also makes a great all around GPS and XM radio for the FJ.
It has the advantage of only paying for 1 XM subscription and having XM a GPS and XM in all you vehicles.
It comes with both a permanent MC mount and a car mount, which makes it quick and simple to remove and remount. It is designed for one hand use on a MC and a touch screen. It is wired so it auto shuts off and comes on when you start the car of MC. I just ordered the XM antenna which allows it to be moved between vehicles and still maintain XM. Or you can just sit around the camp fire and program it using it's built in batteries. Handy not to have to reprogram way points in GPS memory as you change vehicles.
It looks like it was made for the FJ with it's silver and black case. A few photos to tell the story. Mount is perfect for not having to take you eyes off the road while driving. It plugs into the aux. input on the FJ radio. Just under $700 for it on the net.

My dog told me he wants one on his side too.
