NEW WICKED CAS REAR SPEAKER PODS. Solution for rear speaker placement.

I have been getting a lot of phone calls and e-mail regarding a solution for the rear speakers. Finally we made a mold of our pods we have been using in our installs with great success.

These pods will inhance the sound quality from the rear of the FJ and will allow you finally to have some decent speakers in the rear.

Pods are made out of Fiberglass and they have a 6.5" wooden ring between face and back of the pods. It will fit most 6.5" speakers. You can mount your component tweeters in these pods as seen in pictures.

Easiest installation is when the panels are out of the car. You can screw them into the panels from the back of the panel.

We realize you can just install the speakers in the same location without any pods, you will need to mount it right on the plastic panel... This is not a good idea if you want good sound. These pods will make the mounting surface stronger providing a better mounting in to a wooden ring. This will allow you to get the full performance out of the rear sepakers. Not to mention if you wanted to make it look more custom you can have them painted.

Once again we have made these pods on FJ Cruiser forum members and other FJ Cruiser owners requests. And we listen to you all on your inputs and requirements.

They are not for everybody, But if you want your FJ to stand out and have a great sounding rear speakers these are for you. For those who want the best your rear speaker pods have arrived.

They can be had unfinished or with Bed-liner finish.

I bet you those will sound better in the pods.
We have tried them both ways, Mounting on to the plastic panel and with our pods and itis a night and day difference... and that is coing from our customers. Not to mention you can get bigger and beefier speakers in there now.

Forum members will get free shipping. I should have also mention these pods will be on our store website for $219.95 unfinished.

So forum members will automaticaly get $20 off $199.95 Total with shipping.

I would suggest getting them with speakers since most of you only have little 4" speakers. This would be a great time to get a real dealon rear speakers and get the pods of as low as $159.95.
