Where to place backup camera???

Where's the best location to place my backup camera?

I like the clean look of it being place by the license plate like most other cars. Except on the FJ, it is to the side. If I place it there, will 1) the tire block the portion of the view and 2) with the wide camera angle, will I still be able to see all that's behind me. (any one installing here, can you give me a picture so I can see the view, that would really help alot to make up my mind).

OR do you recommend placing flush in the bumper in the middle?

Any install directions.
