Probably a stupid question so be nice

I just finshed wiring my new amp, alpine 205w, and component speakers. They all work including the SWI for steering wheel control. I have not run a DVD yet to know if the PAC TR7 works. I wired my Pioneer XM Innu radio so it runs of the AUX of the 205 and has power from the 12v source in the harness.
Anyways all this is working I just need to put the truck back together.

So here is my question. The power cord from the Amp to my Aux battery could not be attached to the ussual place on the battery as the connector was to small to fit on the bolt. It did however fit on the bolt that attaches the positive lead to the battery. Is it ok to use this or do I need to get a
new connector on the power cable so I can attach it to the ussual spot?

Thanks Adolfo

Should be fine. You could always run the amp for a lil while and check for heat build up at the connection if you dont intirely trust it. No heat no problem.

Not a stupid question but it always helps to put subject info in the subject line of your post. But we've all done it though so no harm done.

As far as I can tell, you will only lose points for neatness and maybe a very small amount of extra aggravation if you need to change the battery or clean the connections.
