What is head unit output?

Hello all

I too want to change my speakers. But the factory head does what I want it to. I will add an amp. I believe there are six speakers not including the ones in the roof. What is the output of those connections? I will power the 6x9 in the doors and the pillars. I am not sure about the tweeters in the dash. Maybe they can run off the head unit power. Any suggestions on an amp brand and location and speakers? I already have 1 amp powering 2 10 inch subs. Any suggestion would be helpful

I don't know the power rating of the HU. The dash speakers are speakers, not tweeters.

If your car came with 6 speakers, these are 2 in the dash, two in the doors and 2 in the roof. If it came with 8, then you have to in the rear pillars. You could put in component 6x9s or 6.5s in the door, and drop the tweeters in the dash location. That way, you can run your amp on the front pair (including the tweeters)s, and 2 rear pillar speakers.
