Small starting batts?

So, after I spent a couple weekends getting this working, I had to remove it to make room for the URD supercharger.

While I do have aux power from some yellow tops on my trailer, they're not available to me during the majority of my trail time. So I have the same area - right hand side, by the firewall - that *would* fit a D34 Optima just fine, were it not for supercharger components.

There IS, however a reasonable space there, still available.

So: What kind of CCA's are NECESSARY for the FJ to start, and what's the minimum sized battery (or bank of smaller batteries) I could install there, allowing me to keep my Hellroaring BIC isolator/combiner, retain emergency starting ability (right now, EVERYTHING, including the winch, runs off of the main batt)?

Anyone got any ideas?

I'll be measuring the space later today; may end up with racing gel cells or something...just enough to ensure at least one or two good "get that engine going, dammit!" cranking attempts. The yellow tops (and an older Odyssey) are taking turns as my aux sources for use on the Tentrax trailer these days (or as blinky light power sources durig silly desert events like Burning Man).

Re: Small starting batts?

Check out Odyssey batteries.

They can be turned in several directions and are VERY durable. They cost a little more but peace of mind...ya know.
