They have great radios and with the super wack pack, they really talk! As for the firestik, I've almost broke mine a couple times hitting low objects like at drive thru's. I just changed mine to my old K40 steel whip. My two cents.

I think I like the whole box over the handset only, just because it looks cool (I'm shallow). I'd love my CB on the roof like that, too. I'm not sure I have the mechanical abilities to pull off the install, though.
