Fjammer In FJ w/out Upgrade Pkgs

Will the FJammer work in a FJ that does not have the upgrade 1 or 2 package? I hope that it would be as simple as sliding the stock unit out and sliding the FJammer in. Anyone tried this?

I don't know if it would, but why would you want to? just get a good aftermarket head unit. I am sure you can get a better value than the Fjammer.

Well, maybe you are getting a used head unit. Sorry, shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.

Yes, it will work. Several people have already posted info that all of the wireing is in place (even for the pillar speakers and sub). You can go stock Toyota for the upgrades or spend more and go aftermarket. I'll be gutting my system (upgrade #2) and replacing the entire system with hi-fidelity stereo gear. I will be parting out the upgrade system that came with the upgrade #2 package. If any one is interested in any of the stereo gear, drop me a PM.

I've seen the FJammer being sold on Ebay already. I've also seen the subwoofer being sold by itself. I wonder how much the Fjammers is worth as compared to aftermarket systems.
