Re: New head lights

the Piaa H4s are sold in pairs, the bulbs are blue tint but the light is actually bright white. I put them in my rig and they are awesome. If you get a light that is over 4000k then it starts to turn the light blue and that will not pass DOT, at least not in Texas. The H4s are 4000k. Get ready for the high beam flash.

Re: New head lights

I got flashed all the time even befor the PIAA's. I have a 3" lift and if I pull up behind someone I just light up the inside of there car. It's great I tell you. Also cars comming towards me will flash me. I wonder what they think when I flash them back... They must feel stupid thinking I got no better business driving around but with my brights on. Some people I tell ya!

Re: New head lights

I would point out that no matter what lights or bulbs you have, they are illegal if they become a driving hazard to other vehicles.

There is nothing wrong with putting better bulbs in your headlights or even using driving lights and/or fog lights, but take the time to adjust them so you aren't screwing everyone else on the road. Blue hued lights supposedly offer better visibility (this is a very hotly debated subject) for drivers, but there is a reason they are not allowed in some states.

Re: New head lights

It is quite easy to lower the lights. All you need is a long thin flathead screwdriver and about 15 secconds.
