Re: Dash Gauge Pod / Cluster Installed Without Dash Swap

I read all of that. What I was asking is if it was possible that I already have the new harness (part # 82142-35070) in my FJ. There is a unused connector behind the radio that looks like it may goto the guage pod. If so I may not need to buy the additional harness, How can I tell?

Re: Dash Gauge Pod / Cluster Installed Without Dash Swap

My 2007 FJ did not have the gauge pod connector in the existing wiring harness. I had to purchase the harness listed. It has been about a year since I installed the gauge pod, but if I remember correctly, the connector for the gauge pod is approximately 1/2" x 1/2" square white connector with (I believe) 4 wires coming from it. I keep kicking myself for not taking pictures. I don't recall having any unused connectors in that area. If you can post a picture of the connector you have, I will be glad to let you know if it looks like the correct connector for the gauge pod. Or if you order all the other parts (less the harness) you can check the gauge pod against your connector. If it fits great, or if not you will have to order the harness I listed. Special ordering the harness should only delay your install a few extra days. Let me know if you need any other info.

Hey...while you guys are at it....You should install some Oznium L.E.D.s in the dash just to piss off Makim. Oznium rocks....best mod I've ever done to the FJ to date.
