I have my wife start my FJ for me.....
I hate getting in a hot .......or cold vehicle in the morning.

If she sits in it while it warms up its kinda like having heated seats...(I have a very sensative hiney).
Wow...a wife who will get your engine going for ya in the morning. better not let her find out about the remote start, you'll be warming up your engine yourself..

Re: remote start?

Okay question. I have an 08 fj....wait for applause....and I have a giant key that has the remote within the key. Do you think its possible to have a remote start and still keep my same key? If not then I have one big key and one remote which defeats the purpose of the giant key. Which is lame.
Okay.................................... DISCUSS!

Re: remote start?

Then you were given 3 keys. Am i right? one of 'em is a valet key (the key that doesn't have a remote built in) then if you do go with the remote start use that valet key as your primary. I'm honestly just guessing though because my o6 civic was like that.

Re: remote start?

FWIW, I had an Astrostart in my Tundra. Worked like a DREAM!

I found a place that will install the same starter in my current rig here in Denver. That's my next mod!

Great luck!

Mike

Re: remote start?

Hmmm I'll be looking into that soon, i like the idea of just the valet key.
