You could sell it on ebay -- apparently they are going for $500+ -- and then get a good subwoofer.
Well said, and do yourself a favor and pick up a JL 10w7 Sub Woofer and a JL 500/1 Mono Amp to drive it. I used to have this set-up on my 99 Acura Integra with MB Quarts 6.5 front and back with a JL 300/4 amp & they friggin' rocked!!! Clean overall sounding system. I'm sold on the JL subs! Just my 2 cents.

Planning on doing a similar set-up on the FJC in a month or so minus the front and rear speakers. Still doing research on that.

The subwoofer isn't a problem for me, I play a variety of music from hip hop, r&b, alternative to rock and it all sounds good to me! I don't need the nav system because I wouldn't use it, I don't need a rear camera because the rear sensor is in there. I'm good with my FJ!
+ 1

Plenty of base and the accoustics of the big open space in the FJ are sweet!

I don't know nothing about stereo/electronics, but I need a better sounding system for my BCFJ ...and because of I'm a bass player (bassist), I'd like start on the Sub! Hey FJ4me, I like your recommendation, but not the price$. What do you think about WoofersEtc?

Re: Subwoofer..........

http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-TS-SW841...QQcmdZViewItem

This seller has a "Make Offer" button, I made an offer on this 8" sub on Friday of $81 and they accepted it. This will fit in the stock box without a problem. I listen to one last week, this sub was impressive.

The reason for the $81, was plus shipping it would be an even $100. Try a lower amount.

Hello chewey46 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Re: Subwoofer..........

WooferEtc is great, I ordered the wrong sub, dual voice coils were I only needed a single voice coil. I called them up and told them what I did and they said send it back and they would exchange it for the one I wanted. Only had to pay for shipping. I went with a Memphis Power Reference 12" sub, http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=2143. Remember it's really the box/install that matters, just find a sub that you like with the specs and price and you'll be set.
