GPS/Cutting Pass. Dash?

Anyone install a GPS in the flat area of the dash on the pass. side in the flat area above thew glove box? Have an Eagle intellimap plotter/GPS and need any info on what's behind this area.
I plan on cutting a hole in the dash and flush mounting the unit. Also where to run the ant. wire, due to the airbags.

I remember seeing a pic of the area behind that space and there is NO room there for anything.
