the garmin nuvi 680 is $479 at costco. they are still selling everywhere else for just over $600.
Awesome, thanks!
I was sold on the 600, which is $499 at Best Buy I believe, but to get the 680 at that price is even better!

If you have the patience, then yes. The Nuvi's need 36 different pics each with a 10 degree variance to operate correctly. If you are patient and accurate enough to take those pictures, then you can crop them and follow the instructions on the GPSPassion forums to create your own marker.
Cool, I might try that when I get all my mods finalized. Whenever that may be.
I did do a quick test with each of these to see if I saw anything glaringly wrong. If you find anything, please post here and I will do my best to fix it. I will work on posting the other colors with roof racks sometime this weekend, but no hard timeline for that. Also, the Voodoo needs to be cleaned up some and that will be done sometime before Monday.
My husband is just so glad that I'm mostly done so he can actually spend time with me WITHOUT my laptop.
Thanks a lot Jen! This Mod is going to look great on my newly acquired Garmin.
I'm keeping all the colors, so I could change them as necessary.

wow... I got my Nuvi 360 yesterday ($249.99 via costco.com) and immediately d/l all the awesome FJs that Macleod did for us! How cool is that!
oh, and Jen, my husband wants to know if you can do a Chevy Silverado in maroon! yeah, he's jealous

I'm so jealous of all that we able to take advantage of the fine work done by these talented members. I have the Kenwood DNX7100 with the Garmin GPS but can't do this mod. Man, I would love to have a little FJ cruising around my GPS...

Thanks!!!!!!! Very nice of you all to share this. The Ti (my color) splash screen and vehicle icon work wonderfully. Just gotta remember to look at the actual road too ;-)
