Cobra HH Road Trip CB Radio

Has anyone had any experience with this CB? It says there is a 4 mile range, why should drill holes in my truck, run wires, add a bandi mount and a fire stick (and all of that money) when I can just pick this one up from Costco for $76. Please, tell me if and why it sucks...

Thanks...

Check it out here!

I got one also, it's good if you one or two vehicles apart. Four miles, no way.

Get one installed.

Re: Cobra HH Road Trip CB Radio

I have one. First used it at the Summit, worked fine. It's been on 10 runs or so, and the only time I had trouble was in Moab, with a bunch of Jeeps, not sure why. For most close groups it's fine. I wouldn't bank on a 4 mile range, unless out in the open. It also comes with a magnetic mount roof antenna that I haven't tried yet.

Re: Cobra HH Road Trip CB Radio

you don't have drill holes in the fj to mount a cb. i have the big bill combo and there are no holes in my fj. i have a cobra hh38 handheld that i use for road trips, but haven't used it on a trail run since i have a cb mounted on the fj
