My Conversation with PIAA

First let me offer a big thanks to Swiss Army SUV for his advice on the need for fusing the hot leads entering the relays for my auxilliary lights.

I bought and installed PIAA Fogs And Driving lights about a year ago. I used PIAA because it came with a plug and play harness and everyone I asked said they were a quality product. After reading a post on light installation the other day I got nervous and asked about the need for fuses.Swiss Army answered in the afirmative and I thought I was going to have to cut up my installation to add them . I was not happy and called PIAA this morning to voice my displeasure . Well, long story short, the fuses are present contained inside the relay enclosures. They are standard replaceable plug in style fuses available everywhere. I suggested that they might want to make that fact available in their instructions but thanked them for the good news as I tried to exit as gracefully as possible

Works for me ,

Marc
