Rear sensors on aftermarket bumper
The FJ goes in to the body shop today to get the hit and run from Christmas fixed. I've gone with the Warn rear bumper and I'm wanting to know if it is possible to mount the sensors in a near factory position in the new unit. Is it as simple as drilling holes in my new bumper or has everyone bucked up and bought bumpers with sensor holes? I can't see this being a big deal but some insight would be appriciated? For all of the use the sensors are sometimes I think it would be just as easy to tape them up and turn the switch off in the mean time. Thanks for the heads up on anything you all can think off.
P.S. the rear bumper sticky was a big help in deciding on a bumper to go with, I was really trying to hold out for the Expedition One rear bumper but I gotta fix this right away.
