Park Lights

Just want to confirm an event i experienced. Can anyone confirm if the Park Lights of the FJ would automatically turn themselves off if we leave them on by accident?

when i walked to the garage this morning i was pretty sure that no lights were turned on. i unlocked the fj from the passenger side and continued to start it from the passenger side as well(reaching into the keyhole to start). walked back into the house when i came back out i noticed that the lights on the sidemirror were turned on(along with the other park lights) when i got in the driver's side the switch was on. I guess i must've left the park lights on a few days before when i got home but im almost 100% certain that the park lights weren't on the night before and that day? weird.

Re: Park Lights

The FJ will also shut off the lights if you press the Lock buttin 2x in the remote.
Same as the Wife's Rav.

Re: Park Lights

When I leave the parking lights on in my 07 FJ with no alarm, they lights turn off when I open the driver door with the key out of the ignition.
