This means that you only need to take factory radio out and connect new harness .
If you wire it, does it become plug and play? Out with the old, in with the new?? If we purchase all the additional parts the steering wheel controls will still work as well?

That's what I figured. The price is still pretty sweet, specially if it comes shipped to your door ready to pop in. Thinking about pulling the trigger. Most likely will if the subwoofer and steering wheel controls still work.
I'm definitely going to pull the trigger on this deal as soon as I get my FJ. The person I'm buying the FJ from should have the title in his hands hopefully by Tuesday...then it's mine!!!
My only issue is that I have an Iphone which doesn't seem to work with the D3 as well as the regular video ipod. Still, the D3 is a sweet unit and I need the navi.
