Eclipse 5435 won't auto-reroute...any thoughts?

I had this unit in my 4runner and it worked great...now in the FJif I drive offf route it doesnt do the auto reroute function.

I found the menu setting for auto reroute " on/off" and I have it set to 'on'....not sure what else to try???

hmm, i have that same deck in one of my vehicles, but i havent really used any features in it. i guess i will have to take a look. its most likely install related. not that you did anything wrong, just that maybe it doesnt like the FJ.

It sounds like the VSS (speed wire) is not connected. you can go into the menu and check,it also doesn't talk to you when VSS is not connected.

JT - that would make sense I guess, because i get a message at the top every once in awhile that says 'check speed pulse' or something like that.

I can go to settings and I can see my speed....so I assumed the speed wire was connected.
