What will fit in the dash?

What size speakers can I fit in the dash? I would like to go with 3.5 or 4", but it doesn't appear they would fit. Have other people done it, and if so how? If not, what will fit up there? And if 3.5" to 4" doesn't work is it worth upgrading them?

Re: What will fit in the dash?

I put 3.5" Infinity Kappas in mine. Plenty of room, I threw out the old bolts though and just drilled through the plastic to get them poistioned right, if you use the two bolts with the way the speaker fits then when you put the speaker cover on it'll pop right back up :-P

Re: What will fit in the dash?

I have Boston Acoustics S35 speakers in my dash. Simple install -- they pop right in -- and they sound pretty good, too.
