Can I safely charge/use my laptop with the 400 watt inverter?

I say yes, since the laptop will be using a brick(power adapter) to get its DC votage(most likely 19V)...The brick will clean any impurities caused by the inverter. Second, 400W is more then plenty for the laptop, so enough power isn't an issue,

Minnesota, 400W means that's how much the inverter can supply if the device requires it. Not what you're thinking...
