Re: Installed Sirius Radio Last Night

Nice

I chose to permanently mount mine in the driver side panel as opposed to the windshield. I removed the panel, then I just used the back of the vent mount as a template, and drilled four holes in the panel and mounted it with the same screws

Re: Installed Sirius Radio Last Night

Mine was a gift, but you can get the Sportster5 with everything you need minus the subscription for $130. The subscription is $12.99 a month.

Portable Sirius Radio, Satellite Radio Car Kit, Sirius Satellite Radio System

Re: Installed Sirius Radio Last Night

I got the Sirius set up through Toyota. It wasn't cheap, but it plays through the factory radio and uses the controls on the steering wheel. Had it done before my Sedona trip. Well worth it.

Regards, SSC

Re: Installed Sirius Radio Last Night

I'd love to get this setup, but I have to chose between gas and the Sirius. What good is a radio in a truck with an empty tank?

Very nice setup! You will LOVE it!

Re: Installed Sirius Radio Last Night

Is the aux input a replacement for the fm modulator? Where did you tap for the continuos power for the satellite holster?
