Stereo Questions...

I did a search but I couldnt find the Info I was looking for, does any one have any specs on the Stereo that comes with the upgrade package? Size of speakers? wattage of deck? wattage of sub?

I thought I read somewhere that the speakers in the doors were 8's that would be sweet...

I also read up on the "new" flat tweeters that the FJ is incorperating, any reviews on thoes?

Last but not least, has any one actually heard the Stereo? With or with out the SUB...

Sorry for all the questions, just tryingt to figure out if I need to add different Sub or keep it stock for a while!!!!

Re: Stereo Questions...

I would suggest repalcing the door speakers with a component set like Focal and then mounting the Tweeter by the dash to bet better imaging. If the doors are 8's and you buy quality and set up your crossover correctly you dont need a sub
unless you just want to impress/annoy others.

Re: Stereo Questions...

The fancy one's are the NXT speakers in the roof. I read up on those and this thing should SOUND amazing. Apparantly just the two little NXT speakers are over $800. A new technology that apparantly converts the whole roof into one speaker! AMAZING. I can't wait to play with it. They are only available on the upgrade packages those are the two additional speakers.

Re: Stereo Questions...

It seems that Billy Joel wrote about the FJ, except the whitewall tires.

It's still rock and roll to me

Flogging doesn't sound fun, edit

Re: Stereo Questions...

No bad necessarily but definitely a public flogging of some sort...

Now white walls on an FJ? Nahhhhh. Although back in the day, they used to make Tioga Competition III race tires for BMX in White with a gummy brown colored Sidewall - I've always thought they should make some kind of uber offroad tire in different colors. That would rock!

Re: Stereo Questions...

Hello guys,

Hamster Wheel and I are to guys from England- you know that small island off Europe France?!
We are invested in a firm called NXT (epic NTX).
I am heavily invested.

This firm is either going to explode into space with its cool technology. (It is awsome IMO...)
Or it is going to go bust... or it might just scrape along just surviving for a few years... and it could still and always take off.
We are desperate to know what you guys with the headliner speaker systems make of it. One guy said it was hard to even tell if they were on?!
Any and all reviews are greatfully received.
We do not look like getting FJ's over here, and it is a matter of doubt if I could afford one anyway! Ciao
