Is It Just Me or...

Is there not a charm or alarm sounding bell that goes off if you forget to turn off your lights and take your key out and open the door. Was going to Best Buy tonight and noticed I had my key in my hand, standing outside of the vehicle and my lights were left on and there was no alarm/chime going off to tell me.

Interesting...

Really! Sorry for the stupid thread then, I really need to sit down and read the owners manual - don't I

The door automatically locks if you forget to lock your doors after a minute and if you leave the inside overhead lamp on, you will hear a buzzing sound until it's turned off.

You sure about the doors locking after a minute? I've never noticed this happening with mine. Is it an option that has to be set maybe?

I don't see how it could be an SET only upgrade. Maybe it's a convenience packages feature.

I'm sure it's a programable feature, mine doesn't do this though.

The doors will only auto lock after you hit the unlock button on your keyfob and subsequently don't open a door.

Ahh, ok thanks - that makes sense. I thought I read the manual pretty close but maybe I need to go through it again.

Re: Is It Just Me or...

My headlight chime reminder stopped working when I cancelled the seatbelt buzzer via another thread here. Don't know if they're related, however I don't worry about it too much as I know that they'll turn off.
