Re: how to remove the Stock Radio ?

thanks Steve,
to replace with a single-DIN Radio, will I need a new cover-moulding?
trying for a week already to find one in Germany.
none of the major importers have it.
would be happy if I donīt need a cover at all.
bye

Consider installing a CB under the single din stereo like Shadow Warrior did and you will not have to worry about the cover:

Re: how to remove the Stock Radio ?

no new trim pieces needed. a dash kit from best kits, scosche, metra, etc.. will work. dont forget to order the appropriate harness as well. it will be available from whomever you order your dash kit from.

Re: how to remove the Stock Radio ?

Thanks to all,
for adapting the Sony, we took an adapter cable from a toyota avensis.
it seems, toyota is using the same cable for different modells.
Radio is in, sound is perfect, receiving stations much better now, plus can use USB and free hand phoning.
cruising gets every day nicer.
