Re: changing fjammer screen

Has anyone put the radio station on their FJammer???

ie, here in Seattle 99.9 is KISW, I would like to put KISW on the screen. Did see anything in the owners manual on how to do this.

Re: changing fjammer screen

Kinda slo here...

Seems there are a couple of steps missing. Maybe someone who was successful, can repeat every step from beginning to end?

Re: changing fjammer screen

First, put your FJammer in AUX mode. Turn off your fjammer then hold the text button down until the text screen promt appears. Release the text button and turn your fjammer back on, the aux screen will be displayed. You should then push and release the text button right after you turn on you FJammer. You can now enter text using the audio control button press this and it will move to the next letter. When you've typed in your stuff press and hold the 1 button. turn off your fj, with the key, then turn it back on. your message should be displayed prior to the fjammer text.( you need to be in aux mode)

Re: changing fjammer screen

okay, not exactly sure how i did it but i managed to reset the jammer so that it would now take text again. i tried to dis-connect the battery to reset, no good, but while i was re-shutting off the seatbelt buzzer, i had an idea. not sure which part it was that did it but: i turned the key to "on" but did not start, held down the number "1" button, turned it back off with the key then back on with the key, after i turned it back on with the key i held the "1" button down for about ten seconds. i then did this same procedure with the "text" button. after i did both, i tried to re-input the text and voila! it works now!

Does the messagge always scroll, or can it be made stationary?
