I was able to figure out how to change the color of the text screen, but not to change the text.

I followed woooody's instructions exactly. I turned the radio off, held the Text button down until Text Mode appeared, then the screen goes off. I turn the radio back on, press the text button quickly and nothing happens except for AUX scrolling across the screen

Am I supposed to push the text button at the same time AUX is scrolling across the screen or after it becomes stationary? I've even tried pushing the text button twice. Once, slow. Second time, fast. No luck.

What am I doing wrong?
