removal of center vents

Has anyone taken out the center vents above the stereo? I reoved everything i could see and still can find what is holding them in place, If you have please let me know or send me a pm with directions pics or what ever you can tell me that will help thanks ahead of time

The plastic mount that holds the center vents in has a lip on the top right and left that goes under the dash, looks like you'd have to remove the plastic over the glove box and around the drivers gauges, kind of dumb setup.

Sorry to say, the vents are part of the dash assembly. Found out this way

Dash - Smash... who needs a dash. I like the last picture of the inside just the way it is. Infact driving around that way will lessen the chance of the truck getting stollen. Now, if I can only remember where that #10x3/4" screw goes.
