Sirius Problem

I came across this forum while researching the FJ. Great Forum!

Pun intended...I have a Sirius problem. Our fj got here today and I forgot to order the Sirius radio. Can this be installed or am I screwed? Is the antenna already installed or do I need to drill, etc?

Thanks

Re: Sirius Problem

if you still want the sirius from the dealer, you can order it anytime. i believe that the sirius is a dealer installed option anyways. if you have the fjammer unit, i know for sure that it is satellite ready. the dealer will install the hardware and antenna on the vehicle and all you'll need is the get it activated. now if you have the other head unit, i'm not much help there. if you decide to get it though i would suggest getting the antenna mounted right up behind the rearview mirror. it gets really good reception there. hope that helps.

Re: Sirius Problem

I ordered my Sirius radio at the time I purchased my FJ.
The Sirius was backordered and arrived last week. I took my FJ to the Dealer yesterday and they did the install. It works great! They installed the antenna at the back of the FJ on the passenger side!
