Tired Shock?

Has NE-1 had this happen:

The shock for the rear door gets very mushy and doesnt support the weight of the door/spare tire?

It seems to get worse and worse.

Re: Tired Shock?

Have noticed it doens't have the same oomph to it as when I first got it, still works and holds the door though.

Re: Tired Shock?

I have to say I noticed the same issue this weekend.

Prior to this weekend I have thrown kids sports equipment in and out of the back door 2-3 times per day. This weekend I had to lock the bar on a small hill to keep the door open.

I am thinking about stopping by the local dealer and having them look at it, but I know that it will take all day, and they will do nothing.
