Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

Thanks, I will let a Tacoma owner on my forum know about this.
He is wanting something like mine (but has heard of the troubles here) for his stock head unit in his Taco.

I am 100% satisfied.
I seem to have gotten one of the first revised firmware units and it works great.
This is very strange. How is it you got the one working unit on the planet? I'm tempted to drive up there and see this miracle of nature for myself! Just think, if we traded units, we could see if it was an FJammer problem or a DICE problem.. it would be for the good of all mankind.

Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

That would be a good test.

I took my iPod out yesterday to sync it up with iTunes since I bought the new Everesence album through iTunes.

Plugged the iPod back in the rig before work, fired up the rig, hit the power to the FJammer, and it sync'd right up and played.

Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

I'm happy with mine as well. It works as it's supposed to, ~ 90% of the time. And when it doesn't, I unplug it, make sure the FJ is off, then replug the iPod with the FJ off, and then restart the FJ.

It doesn't display the text, but I'm Ok with that.

Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

OK, so I'm thinking of stepping into the 21st Century and getting Satellite radio for myself for Xmas. Does anyone know if it possible to have both Satellite Radio and the DICE iPod adapter? If I remember correctly the DICE unit plugs into the satellite jack but I could be wrong.

Tony:

The DiCE unit does use the satellite radio plug.
